As a urologist, Dr. Nachum Katlowitz is highly trained to treat disorders of the male and female urinary tract (bladder, ureter, kidney, and urethra) and the male reproductive system. Urology is classified as a surgical subspecialty, but since a wide variety of clinical problems are encountered when treating urological conditions, knowledge of internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, and other specialties is required.
Dr. Nachum Katlowitz is certified by the American Board of Urology
and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Katlowitz is the Director of Male Sexual Dysfunction and Male Infertility at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn and Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island. He is very active in his field, lecturing on erectile dysfunction for Pfizer Pharmaceutical Company.
A graduate of Cornell University Medical College, Dr. Katlowitz earned his medical degree in 1977. His postgraduate training is listed below:
